Daniel Brenner is a Superior Court Judge in Los Angeles County, appointed in 2012 by Governor Brown. Previously he was a partner at Hogan Lovells, LLP, in Washington DC and Los Angeles. He is on the faculty of USC School of Law and has been on the faculty of UCLA. Georgetown, Cardozo and American University Law Schools. He has been SVP of the National Cable Telecommunications Association, Director of the UCLA Communications Law Program, Senior Legal Advisor to the Chair of the Federal Communications Commission. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting by the President of the United States and confirmed by the Senate to this position. He was given the Cable Lifetime Achievement Award by CableFAX Magzine in 2013.
