KENT COWGILL is a dyed-in-the-wool Husker fan. When he is not thinking about, talking about, or watching football, he is fishing, or spending time with his family. He authored an outdoor fiction collection published by The Atlantic Monthly Press, a book of short stories on fly-fishing published by The University of Wisconsin Press, a travel memoir set in rural Nebraska and the French campagne from an arts/environmental press in Paris, and numerous pieces for outdoor magazines. He was twice named winner of the Robert Traver Award by Fly Rod & Reel magazine
for “a distinguished work of literary fiction” on fly-fishing.
