Ross E. Goldstein

Ross E. Goldstein, Ph.D. was born in Chicago in 1946. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1968 and received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in Social Relations in 1974. He is the author of Fortysomething: Claiming the Power and the Passion of Your Midlife Years (1990, Tarcher) and Chain Reaction (Create Space, 2011). Along with his professional interests, Ross has been a passionate cyclist. He has raced in the United States and Italy. The latter experience formed much of the basis for his novel, Chain Reaction. He currently lives in Mill Valley, California with his wife Nancy and two sons, Chase and Graham. Chase has recently embarked on his own competitive cycling career.
