Wendy Black

Wendy Black Rodgers has spent years creating elegant, functional and timeless interiors for her clients. She starts by taking a holistic approach to her projects by carefully analyzing all aspect of her clients’ lives. It is through listening to clients’ needs and desires that Wendy is able to provide the creative custom interiors for which she is known. Her unique interiors are designed with innovative custom furnishings, one-of-a-kind fixtures and diverse color palates. She is well-known for her sense of balance, scale and comfort.

Wendy discovered her passion for architecture and interior design as a child. Since then, she has become a life-long student in the study of design and lifestyles. For 13 years, Wendy held an international executive position in the hospitality industry where she was afforded the opportunity to travel worldwide on a continuous basis. It was this experience that helped hone Wendy’s keen eye for design and architecture.

Creating residential interiors since 1991, Wendy later formed her own interior design firm, Wendy Black Rodgers Interiors, LLC. Her extensive background has provided her the privilege of working with a wide variety of clients including simple decoration projects to large-scale 30,000 square foot new-build residences.

Wendy has authored two books on hospitality architecture and design, International Hotel and Resort Design 2, Library of Applied Design PBC, 1991, ISBN # 0866361448 and Elegant Hotels of Europe, Harper Collins Design International, 1994, ISBN # 100866362274.
