Russell B. Sunshine

Russell Sunshine was lucky enough to actually lead the international life he'd only dreamed of as a child. For 40 years in 40 countries, he worked as an independent policy advisor to foreign governments and international organizations. Russell's long-term homes-away-from-home included India, Tanzania, China, Laos, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka and Italy. His true tales illuminate remote destinations and layered cultures. Now repatriated with wife and author Nancy Swing on California's Central Coast, Russell continues to write creative non-fiction. His essay, A Man, A Boy and Their Hawk, was published in the 2019 California Writers Club's Literary Review.

Russell's current project is launching a website and blog, AGILE AGING: A Work in Progress. Dedicated to advocating and exploring a positive approach to growing old, the blog generates fortnightly posts combining field experiences, generic guidelines, peer profiles and vigorous follower feedback.
