Ian D. Clark

Professor Ian D. Clark (1958-) has a Doctorate in Aboriginal Historical Geography from Monash University. He has been researching and publishing in Victorian Aboriginal history since 1982. He has been the history research fellow at the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies. He taught Human Geography and Tourism Management at Monash university (1984-1988, 1996-1998) and at Federation University (2000-2019), and is currently Adjunct Professor at Federation University Australia. His research interests include the history of tourism, Victorian place names, Victorian Aboriginal history, and the life and music of Ella Jane Fitzgerald.
