William D. Hedges

Grew up poor on a small farm with no electricity and an outhouse. Joined the navy in WWII, served five years. Lucked into V-12 and earned a degree in Electrical engineering. Upon discharge, became a high school math. and science teacher, married, had two sons, earned a M.S. and Ed.D. in education. Became an elementary, then a junior high, and then a senior high school principal, then a professor of education. Author of six books, he retired at age 67. Now 88, he still writes. His last book admits how, reluctantly, he lost his faith. It is titled "Christianity Routed in 110 Pages."
