Marion Wyse

Born in 1952, Marion Wyse [梅琳] has been writing and painting since -

in a Toronto Beaches home - she could hold a pencil. This became her

favoured way of imaging life as observed and experienced. As an adult

she meandered along a winding path, balancing religious history

studies amidst academic cloisters with administrative work in Canada's

business community. Along the way she married twice and learned

valuable lessons on how not to interact with others. By 1998, she had

achieved both her doctorate and the position of general manager in an

international trading company.

Wanting more challenges, she started an ongoing migration as itinerate

professor: Xiamen and Dalian universities in China, Moscow University

Touro in Russia, and a project in Kenya provide nests as she exchanges

life lessons with the Internet generation. An inveterate storyteller

and researcher, she uses this to assist in creative dialogue between

individuals and communities; to this end she set up the North Wind

Press website in 2006
