I was born in Phoenix, AZ in 1946 and have lived there most of my life. I graduated from Cornell University with a major in mathematics and went on to get Master Degrees in Youth Work and Applied Criminology. My career path meandered through teaching mathematics in a reform school, managing a unit of the Boys Clubs of America, serving as a Juvenile Probation officer, teaching in a middle school, becoming the first Research & Statistical Analyst for the State Department of Corrections which led to becoming a software engineer. After 30 years of designing computer programs and volunteering, I retired to Sandwich, MA with my wife of 45 years. Now I enjoy working as a paraprofessional at a local school providing technical support and instructing children in computer usage.
