Carol Buehrens

Carol Buehrens is the co-author of Purpose, Power, & PASSION: The Women’s Leadership Framework, an interactive workbook designed to help women build confidence, strengthen their leadership skills, and lead with greater purpose, clarity, and passion.

Carol is an author, keynote speaker, educator, and customer experience leader with more than 30 years of experience helping organizations create extraordinary customer experiences. She has worked with major companies including Liberty Mutual, Northrop, McDonnell-Douglas, Bechtel, GE, Mercury Marine, and ICW Group Insurance Companies. Her passion for improving customer experience has earned numerous awards, including the CX Innovation Award from the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA), the ICW Group CEO Award, and the Liberty Mutual Star Award.

Carol provides workshops and university-level education in Customer Experience, leadership, and professional development. As a Rutgers University Adjunct Professor and Founding Board Member of the nation’s first graduate-level Customer Experience Program, Carol helped develop real-world curriculum designed to strengthen the leadership qualities needed to drive business success in today’s customer-driven economy. The Customer Experience Certificate Program at Rutgers is offered in connection with the Master of Business and Science Degree and the Professional Science Master’s Degree.

Carol has also served as an Adjunct Professor for over 40 universities nationwide, teaching online leadership courses. She is a Founding Member and Expert Panel Member of the international Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) and an active member of the San Diego Customer Experience Special Interest Group..
