Martha Pope Gorris

Martha grew up in New England and graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Creative Writing. Her novel, "War of Whispers" is Book One in a trilogy about spiritual warfare and healing. Book #2, "The Echo of Whispers," is a story about rejection and healing. Book #3 will be released in mid 2015.

She is also the author of 2 nonfiction books--"Parenting 20-Something Kids: Recognizing Your Role as They Find Their Way" and "Held Captive by Futile Thoughts? Break Free!" She is a contributor to several other books, "Chicken Soup for the Military Wife's Soul" and "Chicken Soup of Answered Prayers," "Stories From a Soldier's Heart," "Changed", "The Art of Helping," and "Love is an Active Verb."

Martha is a critique group leader and is on the board of her local writer's guild. She loves to encourage new writers.
