Peter K. Tyson

I first studied in England (BA, London; MA Warwick; PGCE Lancaster) and then received my Ph.D. from Canada's University of Alberta (where I had been awarded a Killam Doctoral Fellowship).

I have brought out a wide range of books: academic studies, school revision guides, teaching materials, short stories, poems, teenage novels, children's stories and a murder series. I have also published articles on German literature and cinema as well as numerous book reviews.

After finishing the ninth book in my murder series, completing my series of four Fassbinder essays and putting all my poems together in one volume, I took a break, travelling to Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong and Bulgaria. Refreshed, and with the return of copyright, I then brought out renewed and updated editions of my junior football series (in one volume), my Zen book and my book on China (also to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Tiananmen Square).

I have used lockdown to put together a collection of academic essays and reviews. I have also produced updated, revised versions of the nine books in the Inspector Morose Series. Hopefully, when this dreadful Covid pandemic fades away we can start travelling again.
