John K. Brackett

John K. Brackett was born in 1951 and grew up in Athens, Georgia. He attended The University of Georgia and graduated in 1973 with a B.A degree in English and Religion. In 1986, he graduated from Emory University with both a Masters and Ph.D. degree in the History of Early and Medieval Christianity. He taught classes in ancient history and the Graeco Roman World for twenty years.

From 1974 to 1998, Dr. Brackett also served as an ordained minister in both the United Methodist Church and the Episcopal Church.

He began his writing career with several publications on the history of the ancient world. He also published a book entitled, "On The Pilgrim's Way," in which he analyzed the biblical relationship between the concept of stewardship and early Christianity.

Dr. Brackett began writing fiction full time in 2008. In that same year, he published, "Socrates Anders," and in 2009 another fictional novel entitled, "The Crawford Chronicles."

Dr. Brackett lives in Boca Raton, Florida.
