David Teten

David Teten is Founder of Versatile Venture Capital (versatilevc.com) in New York. He was formerly a Managing Partner with HOF Capital and a Partner with ff Venture Capital. David has also advised institutional investor clients such as Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group, Icahn Enterprises, LLR Partners, Birch Hill Equity Partners, OTMT Investments, Real Ventures, and Right Side Capital.

David is Founder of Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of NY, the largest angel group on the East Coast. He was previously a serial tech founder, an M&A investment banker, and a strategy consultant. David holds a Harvard MBA and a Yale BA. While in college, he founded an IT consulting group specializing in serving nonprofits.

David is the author of The Virtual Handshake: Opening Doors and Closing Deals Online. He is co-founder of PEVCTech.com, a community focused on helping private equity and venture capital funds make better investments through technology.
