Wen-Chao Li

CHRIS WEN-CHAO LI is an educator, translator, and theoretical linguist. He earned his doctorate in General Linguistics and Comparative Philology at Oxford University and worked as a producer and news translator for the BBC World Service. He is currently Professor of Linguistics at San Francisco State University. He has authored monographs and textbooks on language and translated both modern and classic works of Chinese literature. His YouTube channel on grammar shares engaging insights into grammar drawn from language change and contemporary theory.
