David R. Corbin

Dave Corbin founded Teletron Communication Electronics, in North Bend, Oregon, as well as the Corbin Manufacturing and Supply Corporation (1975).

He is a lifelong competitive shooter and has written dozens of articles for popular firearms magazines, as well as the main books about bullet swaging and bullet swage press design.

For over 50 years, Corbin Mfg has helped people start and manage businesses dedicated to producing advanced projectiles for sporting, competing, and industrial or military applications. His goal has always been to help people make a good living doing something they enjoy, using the hobby of shooting and handloading as a springboard for making and selling custom bullets (the projectiles, rather than loaded rounds).

His several swaging books cover both technical aspects of high pressure metal forming without heat (swaging) and the business aspects of using this at home. Although long since retired, Corbin still consults and offers suggestions to would-be or existing bullet makers.
