Zoe M. Hicks was born in Des Moines, Iowa and grew up in Atlanta, GA. She attended Emory University and Emory University School of Law, graduating in 1976. After practicing law for over thirty years and teaching many women about finances and estate planning, she wrote The Women's Estate Planning Guide to enable her clients and students to continue the lessons after leaving her office. She has, in more recent years, followed her avocation of spiritual growth and written two books, Dream Catcher, the Power of Faith and Abundant Living to encourage, equip and empower women to be all God wants them to be. She conducts women's retreats and seminars for Church groups and para church organizations. Her focus is Bible based, Christian education and encouragement. Ms. Hicks has been married to her college sweetheart, Charles, for over 40 years. They have one daughter, Alice, and two American Eskimo dogs, Missy and Mimi. Ms. Hicks enjoys writing on St. Simon's Island, Ga where she looks out over the marshes and finds inspiration as she seeks to hear God and put on paper the thoughts He brings.
