First edition, hardcover, inscribed by Carlson and dated October 2, 2000 on the half title page, the book has a lean to the binding, a light bump to the head of the spine, and a hint of smudging to the edges of the text block. Overall, this is a solid, tight and clean, Very Good+ copy in an unclipped, Very Good dust jacket, which has bumps with light creasing to the spine ends and corners, sunning to the spine with a tiny tear at the head, and rubbing with smudging across the exterior. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.
