John's most recent novel project is Cumulative Effect. Set in the Pacific Northwest, it is the story of a small community rocked by the murder of a man whose friends find themselves in danger due to his hidden life.

When Matt Parnell is killed, leaving behind a wife and two children, his co-workers search for a reason, only to find a network of intrigue that brings to this small corner of the world a host of shady characters and political profiteers.

He is also completing manuscripts for a poetry collection, Elemental, and short story collection, It's in the Male.
