Jay H. Krachmer

Jay Krachmer, MD, an Elsevier Author, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, where his primary research areas of interest are corneal and external diseases. Dr. Kachmer is well renowned in the field, and has received the Society of Heed Fellows Award, the R. Townley Paton Award, the Castroviejo Medal from the Cornea Society, the Helen Keller Sight Award, and the Claes Dohlman National Cornea Teaching Award. He is author of Cornea and Cornea Atlas.
