Kirk Winkler is an author and audiobook narrator. He enjoyed an extensive career in broadcast journalism, owned his own business, and now happily spends his time writing and connecting with readers and listeners from his home in Omaha, Nebraska. A lover of the history of the American heartland and its people, he has lived along the Oregon Trail, Lewis and Clark's route, the old Spanish Camino Real, and just a few miles from where the transcontinental railroad began its push across the continent.
