Nicholas Griffiths

I gained my Ph.D in History at the University of Cambridge, UK, and between 1991 and 2016 I was Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer at the Department of Hispanic Studies (later Modern Languages), University of Birmingham, UK. I have published books and articles on the history of Spain and Spanish America, and the interaction of Christianity and native religions in the Colonial Americas.
