Suzanne Kingsmill

Suzanne Kingsmill has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Toronto, a B.Sc. in Biology from McGill University and a Master of Science in Zoology from the University of Toronto. She is the author of eight fiction and non-fiction books, including four murder mysteries, FOREVER DEAD, INNOCENT MURDERER, DYING FOR MURDER and CRAZY DEAD and has written more than 100 feature articles for numerous national and international magazines, on widely ranging topics. Intermittently, she designs and makes wooden furniture, and is a lapsed wildlife artist. She has two grown sons and a golden retriever, and lives in Toronto, having given up the country life in rural Quebec after 25 years. Currently, she is the Managing Editor of The Canadian Journal of Rural Medicine. Among other things she has:

• survived being trapped between the open ocean and the shore by a shark.

• accidentally slept with a poisonous snake

• survived drowning

• guided a colour blind second mate, at the helm of a large ocean going ferry, past a tanker on a moonless night.

• been trapped in a two person tent by a lion on an African savannah.
