Daniel V Epstein

I have over twenty five years of experience in the Project Management field and the best practices area, working for several major Canadian and US corporations, often managing multiple complex inter-dependent worldwide projects and programs, as well as teaching university students for four years. I received Master's Degree in El. Engineering from the LITMO University in Leningrad (today St. Petersburg, Russia) in 1970; I was certified as Professional Engineer in 1983 by the Canadian Association of Professional Engineers - Ontario; I earned Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University in year 2000 and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2001.

I started the PM Workflow framework development (the subject of the current book: Project Workflow Management) first in 2003, when a set of processes and the project management training class were developed and then teaching project management class in university in 2003-2005 school years. Later on, working in the best practices area, I entertained the idea of presenting Project Management as a single multithreaded business workflow. In 2007-2008 the idea was further refined when teaching the project management class in university. In 2009-2011 I continued working on PM Workflow framework, completing development and the book in 2012.

More information about the book, PM Workflow and Teaching Aid resource for PM instructors may be found at www.pm-workflow.com site.
