Larry Shriner

Larry Patrick Shriner, 62, is a published author and was for many years a college professor with degrees in English and creative writing. He is the author of three novels, "Epilogue for Murder," "Angel, Falling" and the newly released "Shadowstalker." All books are available as ebooks and paperbacks.He is a full member of Mystery Writers of America (available only to published authors) and Authors Guild (also available only to published authors). He taught at the college and university level for more than 20 years before retiring in 2009. Before embarking on his current book endeavors, he had successful careers in journalism, corporate communications and marketing.

Shriner has throughout the years played music professionally, and is adept on several instruments. He owns an extensive collection of fountain pens from the '30s, '40s and '50s and vinyl country-rock albums from the '70s, as well as an extensive hat collection.

He was raised, and lived many years on the west coast of Florida. He now lives in Durham, North Carolina, with his wife of 16 years, Elaine. He is the proud owner of a quaker parrot, a cat and a golden retriever named Buster.
