Michael J. Katz

Michael J. Katz was born in Chicago and migrated west in 1984. Between 1987 and 1991 he published three acclaimed mystery novels that brought comparisons to Donald Westlake and Gregory McDonald. His latest fiction, the comic novel "Dearly Befuddled" was released May 28, 2013. He has written for television as well as writing and producing the indie dark comedy "Remembering Phil." He has reviewed jazz for the website International Review of Music. His landscape photography has won awards and been featured in galleries in Los Angeles and the West.
