Guy Stewart is a retired science teacher (6th grade science through 12th grade physics) and school counselor after forty years and now writes full-time, gardens, and travels with his wife of 37 years. With nearly 100 published short stories, articles, and reviews; plus his personal blogs, POSSIBLY IRRITATING ESSAYS and GUY'S GOTTA TALK ABOUT...he shares opinions about science fiction and writing; and translates recent research on breast cancer, Alzheimer's, and Type 2 diabetes into plain English. His first novel, EMERALD OF EARTH takes place aboard a hollowed-out asteroid, the SOLAR EXPLORER as they swing through the Solar System on a 12-year mission.
