Hello my friends, and thanks for visiting my author page here on Amazon. I'm a graduate of Columbia College in Chicago. For many years I wrote for the magazine market and my celebrity interviews, articles, essays, book reviews, film reviews and Hollywood and literary profiles have appeared in numerous magazines including American Cowboy, Filmfax, The Big Reel, Classic Images, Films of the Golden Age, Kung-Fu Magazine, Mystery News, Scary Monsters and others. My current best-selling title is the non-fiction work ERROL FLYNN: THE LIFE AND CAREER published by McFarland Books in 2004 and it remains in print. I published six Westerns in England for the Hale-Crowood Press legendary Black Horse Western line. TRAIL OF THE BURNED MAN was my first Western. Airship-27 published a retro-pulp style adventure, THE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN GRAVES and also published my stories in two of their anthologies, the most recent being BASS REEVES: FRONTIER MARSHAL, vol. 5.
I am also a collector of vintage paperbacks, selected signed books, comic books, pulp magazines, golden age movie posters and lobby cards, and various ephemera, kitsch, artifacts, magician’s tricks and accessories along with guns and swords and other items which has turned my den into a museum where I disappear for days at a time.
I founded Wounded Outlaw Books to promote my back-catalogue along with independent titles such as DEATH RIDES A PALOMINO and SUNSET AT RIO HONDO, and to coordinate film, television and eBook partnerships. My newest book is THE WIDOWMAKER HARLOT. Thanks for looking over my page! Check out my official series here on Amazon, "Wounded Outlaw Books!"
