Tara Klena Barthel

After a 30 year-long career as a licensed attorney and faith-based Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) specialist (mediator / arbitrator), Tara returned to graduate school to pursue serving as a licensed clinical mental health professional* in Billings, Montana (Redeeming Counseling LLC). Also, outside of the state of Montana, Tara provides professional coaching services that are clinically-informed, but never cross that (legal and ethical) line into professional mental health services.

Tara is the author of the video series “Living the Gospel in Relationships,” and the co-author of the books “Peacemaking Women” (Baker Books) and “Redeeming Church Conflicts” (Tyndale). She holds a Juris Doctorate, two Master’s degrees (M.B.A. and M.S. in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling), and, as a woman living with multiple disabilities, she is devoted to her work on the State of Montana Rehabilitation Council.
