Stephanie Hepburn

Stephanie Hepburn is a journalist whose work has been published in The Guardian, The Times-Picayune, The Advocate, Americas Quarterly and the journal Gender Issues. A graduate of the University of Michigan and the Washington College of Law at American University, she integrates her legal and journalism backgrounds to create highly informative pieces that have a human tone. In 2007, the American Library Association awarded the CHOICE award for Outstanding Academic Title to Hepburn and her co-author Rita J. Simon for their book “Women's Roles and Statuses the World Over.”

Hepburn is the editor in chief of CrisisTalk and the host and executive producer of a podcast by the same name that examines gaps in America’s current mental health system and the innovations trying to bridge them. The first season is on AI and mental health and is available on Amazon Music and all other podcast listening platforms.
