Angela Bowey

Angela settled in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand in 1989 after a busy career as professor of business administration in the UK.

Nowadays she operates the local fitness centre, manages a sanctuary for cats, researches and writes books mostly about glass.

BA (Economics) from Manchester University, UK.

Angela was the Equal Opportunities Commissioner for Scotland for six years, a former member of the Scottish Economic Council; of the Board of Governors of the Scottish Police College; an arbitrator for the UK national arbitration service (ACAS); and Chairman of Rotary Overseas Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC).
