Sheila Kogan

Sheila Kogan has taught dance for most of her life. Her book, "Step by Step: A Complete Movement Education Curriculum" is a classic in schools and studios.

Her latest book, "Found Along The Way: Stories from the Camino de Santiago," is a memoir documenting her 500-mile solo walk across Spain. During her journey, she makes new friends, new discoveries, and ultimately, finds herself.

Her children's book, "The Lambs of Fairy Glen," sprang from a trip to the Hebrides in Northern Scotland. When she was there, Sheila accidentally discovered the enchanted glen and met Mr. and Mrs. Potts, Gordy, the twin girls and the lambs. The story presented itself like a gift.

Sheila is the mother of three and the grandmother of four. She lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area.
