Terence Brady

I'm TERENCE BRADY ~ novelist, playwright, actor, musician and painter ~ and I'm married to international best selling author CHARLOTTE BINGHAM with whom I have written over three hundred television and film scripts as well as half a dozen stage plays. We have both written separately all our professional lives, Charlotte being slightly more precocious than I, having written her first book aged eight (a thriller called DEATH'S TICKET and not bad either...but not available on Amazon alas ~ at least not yet anyway....among the best known of our tv plays were those in the first two series of UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS as well as the comedy series NO HONESTLY ~ and we were even asked over to Hollywood to write a series starring the late Madeleine Kahn. I'm writing a book about that experience at the moment so Watch This Space.

Previously I also wrote novels, historical works and books on horses as well as collaborating with Charlotte on spin-off novels from some of our television series ~ some available here on Amazon. More recently I've been writing for stage and film, perhaps the most notable success being an adaptation of Rosamund Pilcher's best selling novel THE SHELL SEEKERS. I've just finished a musical play called NOEL & COLE about Noel and Cole ~ who else? and hope to see it in production very soon.

McCANN'S DOG is a comedy about a singing dog as well as a love story between a terrestrial hero and intergalactic heroine ~ if you love dogs and show business and science fiction and romance you really might have some fun with this ~ it has a lot of very surprising twists and says what I hope are some funny things about dogs and show business and science fiction and romance, as well as reminding us (gently I hope) of our responsibility to our not so dumb, wonderful furry friends.
