I'm a London based Art Historian specialising in the East India Company and colonial South Asia.

My new book, 'The Art of a Corporation', is a history of the East India Company, as told by the artworks it commissioned and collected in London between 1600 and the mid nineteenth century. Most of these corporately gathered paintings, sculptures and objects of curiosity can still be seen in London today.

Future projects include a book on the forgotten women of Tipu Sultan's court and an illustrated account of Regency Period Kolkata, the great party city of Britain's empire.
