Carol Ellison is a part-time lecturer in the Writing Program of Rutgers University and a principal partner of Ellison Associates which specializes in the creation of custom content (books, articles,case studies, whitepapers, and web content). She is the author of "McGraw-Hill's Concise Guide to Writing Research papers" (2010), a research and writing handbook targeted to high school students and college freshmen; co-author and editor of "Nurturing Customer Relationships" (with Jim Cecil and Eric Rabinowitz, The Nurture Institute, 2006), and co-author of "Parents, Computers, and Kids" (with Robin Raskin, Random House, 1994). The former education editor of HomePC magazine, she has appeared on Oprah as a guest expert on children and the Internet (1997) and twice served on the the new media awards jury for the Bologna Children's Book Fair (1997 and 1998).
