Anthony J. Strike

Tony is University Secretary and Director of Strategy and Governance at the University of Sheffield and was with the University of Southampton before that. He is Chair of Russell Group Directors of Strategy and Planning (representing 24 research intensive universities) and a member of the national executive of the Higher Education Strategic Planners Association. Previously he held posts as Director of Human Resources in Higher Education and in the NHS. Awarded a Ph.D. (2009) by the University of Southampton he researches and writes in higher education management and policy.
