Rose Deakin

Rose Deakin was brought up on a farm in England, surrounded by horses and animals. As an adult she lived mainly in London, working first as a social worker and then as a pioneer part of the micro-computer scene, installing systems, researching software and writing books about her experiences in the 80s and 90s in the strange male-dominated world of micro-computing and business. In her sixties she decide to move to Chile, live in the Andes, ride in the mountains and keep horses. Granddaughter of a famous playwright and daughter of a distinguished biographer, she is now trying her hand at writing about her experiences in Chile.
