Mark Lauden believes that storytelling is the key to the universe: everything worth knowing has a story, and it's the telling that lets us share the important things with each other.

Some Way Outa Here is his second book, a memoir about growing up in the amazing, troubled times at the close of the 1960s. In writing about the year from the first moon landing to the aftermath of Kent State, he uses his own remarkable experiences to illuminate an era.

Mark has worked as a builder, licensed architect, technology product manager, and documentary video producer. He lives in San Francisco, California.
