David Tolfree

I am a professional physicist and a Senior Fellow of the Institute of Physics with over 40 years of experience in nuclear research, micro-nanotechnology development, project management and the marketing of research facilities while employed by the UK Research Councils (CLRC).

During my career as a government physicist and an industry consultant, I published over 175 books, book chapters, newspaper, journal and magazine articles and conference proceedings. I have given invited interviews on television and radio on micro and nanotechnology commercialisation.

My current interests are writing, reading, filmmaking, photography, space science, painting, and gardening. I have a strong interest in emerging technologies and their societal impact and I write about current events. I now devote much of my time to a new passion - writing fictional political thrillers.
