(Illustrator) Peter Bowman

Peter (Pete) Bowman was born in Leeds in 1957. He is a Children's Book Illustrator & Author of 48 published books. They have been translated in 20 languages and over 250 editions sold worldwide. His book 'Is That What Friend's Do' was the first book to appear on British TV's newly launched children's channel, CBeebies when it launched in Feb 2002. His other books include his successful little teddy bear character 'Tiny Ted' sold as a box set - 'The Adventures of Tiny Ted'

His very detailed pencil & watercolour illustrations have graced children's books for 30 years.
