Ross Skoggard

I was born in China to an artist and a writer. I grew up in Cold Spring Harbor, New York and went to Bard College, and Columbia University for painting and art history. While living in NYC I started writing art reviews for Art in America, Artforum, The Village Voice and others. This led to a column on antiques for Canada's largest newspaper, The Toronto Star, and a contract for this book. My columns have been collecteded in "The Compleat Collector" I live now in a century home in Midland, Ontario where i run "The Captain's House", a bed and breakfast.
