Anna Scotti

Anna Scotti is a mystery writer, poet, and young adult author. Her novel-in-stories, IT'S NOT EVEN PAST, was released in 2025 but went out of print when the publisher closed. IT'S NOT EVEN PAST, featuring Scotti's "librarian on the run" character from Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, is now available from a new publisher with a new introduction and a brand-new cover! Crippen and Landru will release the book on October 20, 2026! Meanwhile, Scotti's librarian on the run series and other, independent stories continue to appear in EQMM regularly! You can also find her work in BEST MYSTERY STORIES OF THE YEAR 2022, 2024, and 2025 (Mysterious Press) and in the anthology PARANOIA BLUES (Open Road Books).
