Angus Jenkinson

I was born in the brilliant wideness and wilderness of Africa in a country seeking to change its world and have sucked that into my marrow. When I came to school in Scotland I discovered in the culture of the place the art of achieving a great deal with ease. At Oxford, I discovered the value of deep learning. By the time I was 20 I knew that the world I live in depends on my awareness of it. My wife taught me love. IBM gave me an astonishingly deep understanding of how to run a business and how to create value for others. Running my own business anchored and deepened that. Having spent 20 years in organisations that were the best of their breed by the time I was 40, I decided it was that I wanted to help others achieve. Clients have kept teaching me.

Through all my business experience I've also tried to be an artist and follow the spirit. I am a photographer and writer. And I observe the Wabi Sabi of the world, the beauty of imperfection. So I try to help organisations and people be their best, be perfect, but to be that they have to be individual, non-standard, creatively themselves.

I have written a successful business book on marketing and a much appreciated book on personal development for leaders and those who want to get more out of life, both of which have been major themes of my work. I am also currently writing a novel and a new book on brand and organization design. In addition to this I have published scores of papers on integrated marketing and organisation development.
