Michael Kaye, CFA is a Deputy Portfolio Manager for Standard & Poor's Investment Advisory Services LLC. In this position, Mr. Kaye helps manage portfolios that are sub-advised by Standard & Poor's Investment Advisory Services LLC.

Mr. Kaye joined Standard & Poor's in 2000 as an analyst in the Portfolio Services group. His primary responsibility included performance calculation and database maintenance for Standard & Poor's Equity Research's STock Appreciation Ranking Systems (STARS) and other proprietary model portfolios such as the Neural Fair Value and Platinum portfolios. Mr. Kaye was promoted in 2007 to Portfolio Officer. In this role, he serves as the deputy portfolio manager for accounts sub-advised for Commerz Bank and Samsung Corporation, conducts back tests on equity portfolio strategies, and develops unit investment trusts and structured notes. Additionally, he is the author of a weekly investment column on stock screening on Business Week Online. He has been quoted in numerous publications including Fidelity's e-newletter, Kiplinger.com, Faz.net, and Standard & Poor's The Outlook publication.

Prior to joining Standard & Poor's, Mr. Kaye was a senior performance analyst at Citibank and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. He received a B.A. in economics from George Washington University and an M.B.A. in finance from Fordham University. He holds the CFA designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.

Michael grew up in Oceanside, N.Y. and currently lives in Roslyn Heights, N.Y. with his wife, Emily, daughter, Megan, and sons, Shawn and Bradley.
