Glen Kaye

Glen Kaye received his undergraduate and graduate education in natural history and natural resource geography at Southern Oregon College, Oregon State College/University and the University of California, Berkeley. He is the author of numerous publications about federal parks, including Hawaii Volcanoes - The Story Behind The Scenery; Cape Cod - The Story Behind The Scenery; and Rocky Mountain National Park - The Story Of Its Origin, published in conjunction with Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, a topographic map published by the United States Geological Survey.

Long time residents of the Big Island will remember the Ke Ala Kahiko nature trail near Wahaula Visitor Center in Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. The trail was buried by lava flows from Kilauea's Southeast Rift in the 1980s, but Glen's interpretive folder for it can still be found in Hawaiian libraries.
