Maryjane Dunn

Professor Maryjane Dunn's path has followed the Camino de Santiago from a time before there were yellow arrows. After walking the Camino Francés in 1979, she continued her scholarly pilgrimage, co-authoring with Linda Davidson "Pilgrimage in the Middle Ages: A Research Guide" and "The Camino de Santiago: A Comprehensive, Annotated Bibliography" (Garland Press, 1993 and 1994). She (along with Tom Coffey) has translated and edited Books I, II, and III of the twelfth century Codex Calixtinus, "The Sermons and Liturgy of Saint James" and "The Miracles and Translatio of Saint James" (Italica Press, 2021 and 2019). Her shorter publications are included in "The Camino de Santiago in the 21st Century: Interdisciplinary Perspectives and Global Views" (Routledge, 2015), "Walking the Camino de Santiago: Essays on Pilgrimage in the Twenty-First Century" (McFarland, 2021); "Women and Pilgrimage" (CABI, 2022), and "Patrimonio cultural inmaterial: De los Castells al Camino de Santiago" (Tirant lo Blanch, 2021).
