Jane Grosslight

“You can see right through me; I’m passionate about saving you money and saving energy!” I am Jane Grosslight and I have written 3 books and 6 booklets on lighting. All 3 books received a Progress Award from the Illuminating Engineering Society as a unique and significant advancement to the art and science of lighting. All publications are approved for continuing education by the Florida Board of Professional Regulation. And I have presented 85 workshops on lighting for professional associations, merchandise marts, and the general public.

My latest book is for the general public. It is: MONEY IN YOUR POCKET WITH A BULB AND A SOCKET FOR HOMES AND BUSINESSES. It helps people choose the right light bulb to reduce their electricity for lighting and air conditioning, shows them how to determine their savings and payback time, suggests ways to use daylight, and indicates how lighting affects their health. Seven people who used it for continuing education last year rated it as EXCELLENT on all five Florida Board’s evaluation questions.

It has cartoons about lighting, contains line drawings, reveals information in tables and charts, and utilizes icons to show important information and website references. It makes complicated lighting technology understandable and useable.
