Victor Madej/a (1948-) was born in Munich to Polish parents who immigrated to NYC in 1950, where he completed Brooklyn Tech HS and started its Debate Club. After West Point (BS, 1970) he volnteered for infantry, airborne, ranger, Vietnam, to serve there leading rifle platoons (101AbnD '71, 196LtB '72). He then qualified as a Green Beret (5SFG). Subsequent duties in the Army Reserve oriented on Europe and required languages (9), TS clearance, and a graduate degree (MSoc NCSU '77). For several years he worked for large corporations (MBA, Lehigh '84). His writing aims to expose "the amazing true story of World War 2" and last two books (38 & 39) - under patronymic (Madeson) - explore a "moral equivalent of war" on global corporatism.
