Florence Chard Dacey

Florence Chard Dacey of Northfield, Minnesota is the author of five published poetry collections: THE SWOON, THE NECKLACE, MAYNARD WENT THIS WAY, ROCK WORN BY WATER and THE MERCY OF STONE, Poems from Fifty Years (2023). Her creative work includes helping create the libretto for the opera "Lightning," performed by In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater of Minneapolis. Now retired, she conducted hundreds of creative writing residencies and workshops in Minnesota from the 1980s to 2014.
