Simon Jonah Thomas is an ordained minister of over thirty years. He has served as an associate minister, Director of prayer services, evangelist, Pastor of children’s church, hospital chaplain, and a Christian writer published by Decision magazine, a series of Bible study lessons for Union Gospel Press and magazine articles. He has also published a book on prayer titled Higher than the Ceiling and two books on a fictional preacher titled I Wish I Had A Praying Church and Storm Clouds.
His experiences over thirty years have given him a unique perspective on the values, faith, and concerns of individuals of various racial, social, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds and the fact that Christians must bear the responsibility for the rise of Eastern, cultic, and other religions within our society as well as unbelief, because far too many professing believers talk the talk but fail to exemplify walking in faith.
Based upon his observances over the years, Simon is convinced that rather than making Christ their example, many “Christians” make Christ subordinate to their own personal, political, racial, social, and economic perspectives and desires.
Revival within the church is a necessity not an option.
